Where these photos were taken
Thank you for visiting my site. It has been a goal of mine for a number of years to create an online portfolio that allows me to share my photographs. I will continue to update the galleries as I experience new adventures and capture more photographic moments.
I have always had an interest in photography, dating back to when I carried my toy camera around on vacations and "took pictures" of the places we went. This passion continued when I received my first film camera, but unfortunately due to the nature of film those photos were not as easy to keep track of. Thus, my photography truly began when I started shooting digital photographs at the age of 15. I soon discovered the art the lens could create and developed a few characteristic styles, most of which involve utilizing the sun at various angles in relation to my subject matter.
I am thankful to have been given so many opportunities to travel and document the sights I come across, for photography is dependent upon its environment - I can only capture what I encounter.
I have never taken a photography class, nor have I received training on photo editing. I merely gain inspiration from others' work and learn how to create it for myself.
I would like to note that I rarely use Photoshop, for I feel its capabilities detract from the art of creating the photo itself. The basic editing tools I use are found in iPhoto.
I graduated from Arizona State University in 2009 and returned for my MBA in 2012. I live in Phoenix, AZ with my wife and pup. I love to travel, primarily because I enjoy the opportunity to create new photographic memories. I am anxious to discover where my next adventure will take me...
